A few weeks ago someone mentioned one of the differences between the east and
west coast USA contest efforts was that the west coast worked a lot of weak
10w JAs (those with a license with a 10w limit who can't use 20m). I
started to wonder how many QRP or low power stations we were working from the
east coast - the table below is from the K1KI multi-multi effort in the ARRL
DX Contest on CW and shows the power received (percentages) from stations on
each band
Yes, some of those in the 1-10w and 11-98w categories may have been sending
QSO numbers instead of power... I was surprised to see that half of the
contacts were with stations sending 100w (and a few at 99). Can anyone do a
similar table for a west coast multi-op log?
