A sudden business trip to Tallahassee allowed me to mke a trip to 6Y5. I should
know better
by now then to check any essential luggage, but I did and sure enough AA lost
my bag
containing the Windom. It finally arrived early Sunday morning(0300) and I was
up nad
running for the last 5 hours of the contest. I used the Windom as a sloper with
the base inches
from the water and my trusty, suitably modified HW9-no computer or memory
keyer-did it the
old fashioned way!
