Fellow contesters,
First he tells everyone that he refuses to work me in a VHF
contest because I don't sign /W4.
Now this. I give up... And this is supposed to be fun? You guys
decide what I should do with my log. When someone reminds me
that this is only a hobby I'll send it along with the," who
gives a damn what they think"attitude I'm famous for. I'm going
for another beer and to get out the old Stamp collection. And I
thought this aggravation only happened on packet...I don't feel
that anyone should lose a mult because of a mistake I made due
to unfamiliarity with a logging program.Mea Culpa! Not Yours.

Here is my second mistake. I accidentally forgot to copy
the log.tmp file and deleted it and only copied the log.dat file
for v4.05 of N6TR logger. I lost the last 5 calls of the contest
out of my log. If you were my contact number 185,186,187,188,189
please send me your call and info. Please?!
Results original-189 X 42=7938
Stupidity version and final version unless I am lucky=

Ken:
Thanks for doing a far better job than I of making SC
available in the Sprint. I was in the low power category,
and didn't even realize my 40m dipole had come down in
the winds before the contest.
I'm not trying to put a strange bent on things and I don't have
a lot of pent-up anger (I think those were your feelings about
my comments on ur VHF test callsign choice), but if you get
logging help after the contest you are violating the rules of
the contest. This is not my "in the spirit" of the contest
verbage, but is directly related to the rules. The contest
ended
at 0400GMT on Sunday, not this week. It doesn't even matter
that you might want to help someone else by making sure
that they got the SC multiplier. If someone gives you log info
here on internet, they are also violating the rules of the
contest.
Of course, there's a gray area with some of the guys posting
their actual logs here!
Now, if you just want to know who you worked for the heck of it
there isn't a darn thing wrong with it and who cares. However,
for scoring and contesting purposes your "stupidity version"
(how many times have I been at least as guilty??) is what must
be submitted. Remember what happened to N6TR in
sweepstakes last year? THink how badly he must feel.
I'm sure I'm not the only person to point this out.... congrats
again on the sprint score. I hesitate to post my pitiful
score....73,tom WB4iUX
ps: W3ZZ came to your defense on the VHF test callsign
discussion. Now I know why: you 2 eat anchovies together.
Of all the things I've put in my mouth, I can't stomach
anchovies and escargot.
