It has been interesting in the recent past to read various stories
of lightning damage and especially about assorted (conflicting)
theories regarding protection. I received in the mail today a
flyer from the Lightning Protection Institute advertising a work-
shop in San Antonio on Lightning Protection Codes and Design
Program Summary. One of the items on the agenda is titled:
"Protection for Heavy-Duty Stacks". Hmmmmm? Must be some big
guns in that organization!

I don't mind if the "big guys" want to handicap themselves...gives us
also rans a better chance to WIN! Wasn't on -- if I'd known they were
gonna "spot us" some advantages I'd have tried harder to be on!

If the word had gotten out sufficiently, the normally low power guys
(except for TVI plaqued ones) could have all gone high power, had a
better chance of winning the contest, and maintained the low power/high
power class separation. hi
