I missed you guys in North America. You were only 12% of my contacts. 85%
with Europe which explains the low QSO point value.
Only 22% of my Q's were SSB, so if you were NA and Phone only, we probably
didn't work.
--------------------------
I was doing real good overtaking my last year's score from Greenland going
into the end of the contest. Usually there is always some pretty good rates
the last 3 to 4 hours of any contest. But, my last 4 hours only averaged 30
Q's/hour which was a big disappointment. I did manage to log 59 more Q's
than my previous effort.
--------------------------
This contest is great fun. Can't wait 'til next year.

Simplify the scoring. Also, I'd like to see the SquINT limited to contacts
between kids. I don't have a big station on 20 and my son kept getting beat
out in the pileups by adults with 5-element yagis. As a result, we made only
12 Q's and I was running 1500 watts!(and a dipole) I noticed some of the other
kids only made a contact or two.
How about calling the event something like the "Kids-only contest?
If the kids would call CQ KIDS ONLY that might help assure they all make a
fair number of contacts.

Equipment: TR5 with 80 watts; 10-15-20: 3 ele beam FB33 at 21m; 40:
dipole.
Unfortunately we had heavy thunderstorms during the night, so it was
impossible to hear anything but the static. So no activity on 160, 80
or 40.
During the HF contest I was monitoring the 6 meters band for any
activity, but the guys in the VHF WW very very unlucky, no conditions
at all.
Last two weeks we built a new tower so we now can up to 22 meters high
now with the antenna's. We used to have a maximum heigth of 10 meters
for the beam and 18 meters for the 160-dipole. The 10 meters higher
gives a very good performance boost.
