Has anyone seen results from the International SSTV Contest a couple
months ago. I have seen no posts here?

I agree, if a frequency is not in use, use it! I can't speak for the
actions of others, but I would guess that there is some provocation
of the folks on 14.230. I AM NOT EVEN ONE OF THEM!! I just ask that
everyone be treated with respect. For the duration of the contest, you
would have to agree that contests take up most of the band. Sun Spots
are LOW, twenty is crowded. I understand some proposals for a contest
free zone have been brought to the table (at the top of the band). I AM
ABSOLUTELY FOR IT eventhough I will never be there myself.
Since I have no personal interset in this issue (just humanitarian) I think
I will now drop it. I think my basic fundamental point has been
misunderstood. I would hope that the intent of the original message
was not to INTENTIONALLY interfere with fellow amateurs. That is
about it. I don't want to be anyone's enemy, quite the contrary. I
take it some feel the actions of SSTV stations improper, so stay away.
Don't escalate the situation with intentional interference, please.
I really have more important things to do, like scrub my bathtub.
Sorry for the misunderstanding, 73 de Brian
