The hand logs were entered and computer logs merged for our Multi-Multi
effort at ZF2JI. We made 7,370 Q's and had a score of approximately
9.41M. I will post a breakdown when I get a copy of the .Bin file. This
isn't a record breaking score by any means but it is a vast improvement
over last year with 700 fewer QSO's. Most of the gang had not
participated in any type of Multi-Op contest before or had been on a
Contestpedition. Even though Multi-Multi, we were only able to run 2
radios full time due to lack of equipment and inter-station interference
problems. We had a blast and learned a lot in the process. Several of
us, the more "rabid" types, hope to put forth a much more serious effort
next year. Hopefully from 3 point land somewhere. Thanks for the Q's!!

Well, it is just a simple matter of simple software.
You COULD write your software so that if you work a specific callsign
(like a never used callsign), it will signal that the software is
being used. Like, sending the version number as part of the exchange
automatically. If the version number appears and it is not from the
person who bought the software, then a different club callsign can be
used and the hard disk of the station will be formatted.
It will help cut down on the advantage guest ops have as well.
I echo W5XD's comments. My package is a labor of love, not profit. I have
probably about 2 man years in it now, and I am just thankful my wife hasn't
left me yet. The other day I did something different... I went up to the
computer/radio room and just got on the air. I spend about 95 percent
of my free time doing software. I keep fooling myself that I am almost
done, but the todo list is still pretty long.
If there is going to be a second generation of contest logging software
(which W5XD and I are on the brink of being), then we need your support to
keep going. It doesn't take very many orders a week to show my wife that
this is worth the time I spend in it and I can keep working on it.
