A lot of you probably have heard the Telephone Pioneer QSO Party that
takes place each December (same week-end as the ARRL 160 test). This
semi contest is between amateurs who are members of the Telephone
Pioneer Organization, a service group that consists of active and
retired telephone company (ex Bell system and Independent Companies)
employees.
Since I'm stuck with inputting the data from the submitted logs and also
with distributing the results, I am in need of a ham contact, hopefully
an active, not - yet retired employee who is associated with the Jewett
Chapter - Murray Hills, NJ.
The Pioneer administration office says they have not supported any
amateur radio organization in three years due to the old budget cut and
I would sure like to find a person who is willing to act as a contact
for this particular contest.
The stations who submitted logs for the 92 TP QSO party are:
K2IUK, K2BHQ, K2VAM, W2CQB, W2WKL, K2QXW, K2ASM AND W2RFY
As you can see, these calls are of retired employee vintage, which makes
it hard to establish contact.
If any of you AT&T or Bellcore types (i was one once - NV6O/2) can help
me, please contact me via internet or whatever.
