The good old days when hams were polite?? As a 14 year old greenhorn (WB2UDI c. 1965), I was snarled at by a famous W2xx. "No, kids, no lids, no WA's" was his tag on each CQ. There was rudeness back then, too. It does seem to have become much more common of late, alas. We thought W2xx was kinda cute, rest his soul, in part because that attitude was fairly rare. 73, Dan, KF4AV Daniel J.
