Being fair is relative. Fair to whom, and what area of the country ?? As
an upper midwest, Black Hole op, I (and many others) would love to see the
format changed to 40/80/160 ! This wouldn't be as fair to the W coast ops.
Frankly, having the contest moved to even higher bands at this time in the
cycle would most likely drive off MANY 9th area ops.
OK, I hear you, "SO WHAT ??" . Well, if enough guys from around here
didn't get on, that could be 100 qso/band points everybody else won't have.
