Hi Gang. I am interested in hearing from you regarding 80 and 160 meter antennas for low angle radiation. It appears that a reasonably "good" one for 80 meters is the 1/4 wave sloper hung from a tower. Has anyone had any experience with this type? How high is your feed point and what is the approximate slope anle. Is it possible to use phasing techniques? I realize that ON4UN would shutter at the thought of a sloper, but I'd like to hear from others. 73 es tnx. Joe, K1ETT |
