Subject: TI1C Score Rumor
Rich Smith, N6KT, made 10160 QSOs from TI1C in the ARRL DX SSB,
single-op., unassisted. Rich did not log by computer, so he figures
to have a dupe rate that will bring him down to about 9800 QSOs after
dupes, breaking the old record by about 400 QSOs.
His first hour was 350 QSOs! The next two or three were all over
300. He AVERAGED 211 QSOs/hour for the entire contest.
QSL route for TI1C has not yet been determined.
TI1C has built quite a station. Would you believe they put up a
4 element quad on 160?
