No, Carl, this is simply not so. The original idea for this full size loop
was advanced in "Lowband Monitor" some years ago. In modeling, and in
acutality, the triangle need not be
equilateral, but may have the bottom part longer than the others. The best
feed system for
the thing is still 17.5% up from one of the bottom corners.
Incidentally, the bottom wire should NOT be over about 6-8 feet from ground
on 80, and below 10 on 160.
