I have a mla2500.
No tubes.
No tank.
No bandswitch.
Needs filter caps.
Also have some gi7bt.
I made mounts for two tubes.
Unless a bargain multiband tank turns up, it's going on 6 or 40.

The mla2500 transformer is 800V and 900mA With a doubler and cap input I'm
expecting 2kV loaded for ballpark 800 W CW out. The bt tubes should be
good for more with higher voltage. But, a higher voltage transformer adds
$hundreds.

There are some real bargains on 2x3-500z amps. Easy kW out. I've seen a few
tentec centurion with asking price around $100-$1200. QSK and 160!
