Is the 3-1000Z not like the 3-500Z in that the only way to get the
gettering to work is through having the anode nice and hot? That is
glowing nicely.
Therefore, it doesn't matter how long you let the tube run with filament and fan, no gettering is happening. That is my understanding. 73, Alek, VK6APK.
