I've finally resurrected an old original Alpha 374 and find it to be a pretty nice amp except for the T/R relay being incredibly loud. I would like to upgrade it to something that sounds less like a gunshot. I've got a couple used RJ1As, but have read that's over kill on the input side. What's the current wisdom for improved T/R relays, with ease of modification and eliminating the loud clap being high priorities? Thanks for any ideas.
