I'd be glad to help.
Do you have a TL922 schematic?
Get out and lets take a look.
Do you want to call me on the phone?
Thanks

Hello all:
I have a Kenwood TL-922 with a Harbach Soft-Start module installed.
Normally, I run my amp from 220vac, but I am currently on a contest expedition
in Labrador (Zone 2) and I have to run it off 110vac temporarily while at this
location.
I changed the taps through the back panel to run the amp on 110v, and I have
bypassed the Harbach Soft-Start module.
My problem is that the fan does not run at all since I did this. I can't
figure out why, and I dare not run the amp without the fan.
So, what can I do to get the fan running again?1. Can I re-install the 220vac
Harbach Soft-Start and run it off 110vac?2. Is there some better configuration
of the taps that would get the fan running again?
I am not in a position to test the fan here and now, but I have every confidence
that it works fine. I used the amp on 220vac just a few days before I left for
Labrador.
Jeff W8CQ at Harbach was unable to offer any advice, as he is not familiar with
the TL-922.
