It would be very difficult to pass off a Jolita tube as an Amperex. Unlike
Eimac and Chienese type 3-500 tubes the Amoerex does not require an anode width
enhancer because the anode protrusion of an Amperex tube is already the proper
width.

Subject: Re: [Amps] 3-500Z labeling
RF parts is selling "re-branded" Amperex 3-500 tubes which are nothing
more than Jolita (China made) 3-500s. Just did a picture lookup on
Google and saw them. They have 5 disks vs the original Amperex 4 disk.
Eimac DID make graphite plate (stacked doghnuts) style 3-500s in the 60s
and 70s. They are pretty rare. I had several pairs in very old SB220s
that I bought at hamfests. They were clearly marked with the Eimac
label. I don't remember how many disks the Eimac tube had.
