Usually relay contacts that became gummed up from constant low current use and insufficient wiping action. Open frame can be cleaned

The Vacuum relay optin can usually be restored by rewiring and putting low power thru the NC contacts a few times by toggling the relay.

My 1986 500ZC has the original vacuum relay and Eimac tubes.

Subject: [Amps] Attenuation of signal

The Amp International LK500-ZC which I picked up couple weeks ago has
another issue besides the fan. Running an FT-1000mp with it. When I tune in
a cw signal that is S7 and then put the amp online in standby the received
signal will drop two S units, S5. What could cause this or areas to check.
