Subject: Re: [Amps] FL-2100B input swr problem
<When the amplifier is in standby, the SWR at the exciter in bypass mode is
fine. So the only thing that leaves is the piece of coax between the relay and
the input portion of the band switch. I plan to try a temporary replacement
later this morning.

## It still makes no sense. The input SWR on 40m is good...higher on
20M..and sky high on all other bands. If swr is good on 40M, and lousy on all
other bands... and since all the caps have been replaced, that only leaves
the slug tuned coils.
IF the bandswitch for the tuned input is in sync with the kw PI net
bandswitch, you should be able to see zero ohms between input coax on back of
amp... IE: coax center conductor....... and input side of input coupling
cap...on each band, with TR relay activated. Input coupling cap located
between output of tuned input band switch..and cathode.
