TN is getting too close to MS (-; Ole Martin F. will wait until all the
relocation costs are spent and then make his move!

A friendjust acquired one, but it has some problems (a transformer, if I rememberright)? If the tube is still good (he doesn't have any way to test it), I'madvising him to restore it and put it on the air. Pretty rare amplfier. Speaking of Alpha, I've heard (from a credible source, but consider this still in the rumor category) that after the merger, Alpha amps will beassembled in Tennessee, but that engineering, design (and possibly repairs?)will continue to be done in Colorado. I'm glad they're keeping engineering separate. The design philosophies of the two companies are very different. 73, Jim W8ZR _______________________________________________ Amps mailing list Amps@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/amps _______________________________________________ Amps mailing list Amps@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/amps |
