I will shortly be in the market for a >= 1kW output solid state amp.  
Can anyone tell me if there are published comparisons between, 
Ameritron, THP, Yaesu Quadra, and maybe others?
I am particularly interested in proven ruggedness, remote operation, and 
IMD figures.
