I have an old GR RLC bridge buried somewhere in the basement; came from the
National Radio IRS auction in 91 or so. Havent looked at it since; maybe add to
my New Years resolutions....
Ive been to the old and later GR facilities over the years playing chauffer and
gopher with test equipment

became available?"
General Radio (from your part of the world, Carl) did an inductance bridge
where you could superimpose quite large amounts of DC. I have a small Marconi
Instruments bridge that has provision for putting DC on electrolytics and
inductors - you need an external DC source for that, though.
