I still have the 53.5uF 10KV Sangamo I picked up decades ago. About 150# if
I remember and always destined for the ultimate amp I never got around to
building....yet.
The 1500W 2M amp has been upgraded from a pair of 12uF 4000V to three at
5000V since Ive reconfigured things to use the same PS on multiple VHF/UHF
amps. The transformer was custom built for me in the 80's when I was selling
them thru Radiokit and has 3 input taps and 4 output selections.

I picked up a CP cap at Dayton a few years ago for $20 or $30, 7.5 KV
8.7 uF oil cap. It had a case crack but JB Weld fixed that. Seems
good to go. Probably make a nice filter cap for a choke input.
