I am pretty sure the socket is separate from the air system just like the
Johnson socket on an 8877. The socket is simply a phenolic type 11 pin
socket then it gets bolted to the air system. I think.

Thanks to the many for your replies.
I have looked at RF parts and the graphic on the substitute only shows only
an 11 pin socket.
In the Commander II I have, the 11 pin socket appears to be part of a air
system like socket with a flange collar to the chassis and also a finger
stock grid ring.
Is it possible the RF Parts socket a sub assembly of the collar flange?
Thanks again for everyone help here.

Subject: [Amps] WTB: E.F. Johnson socket #124-311-100 for Commander II amp
(early Stein model)
Spent some time looking around the web for one one of these sockets for
a 3CX800A7 with little success.
Does anyone have any sources for these?
E.F. Johnson socket #124-311-100 a.k.a. Eimac SK-1900
Thanks in advance.
