I have two Alpha 76's, both 3-tubers. One has the standard transformer, the other hypersil. Compared to the standard transformer 76, the HV on the hypersil 76 seems low - About 2150-2200 volts in standby, and 1700 volts @ 1500 watts output. What are others seeing ? The capacitors are the original no-name, 180 uf, 450 volt variety. Should I be looking at replacing them for increased HV ? 73, Steve, N2IC _______________________________________________ Amps mailing list Amps@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/amps |
