Welll... I did a bit of searching and near as I can tell the
Pacific/Oceana price is on the order of $719 ea or if you purchase 25 or
more it drops to $621 ea. I didn't find a US distributor with a listed
price.
That makes a new 8877 look pretty reasonable and a pair of 4CX1500B's or
Chinese FU728Fs look downright economical as you'd need at least two of
them for the legal limit and that might be pushing your luck running
linear.
I think I'll keep on collecting external anode Triodes and Tetrodes for
a while. <:-))
