Amplifier found,
It is an AM-495/GR. 25-50 MHz which is why it was easily converted to 14-21 MHz.
Does anyone have one available for a reasonable price. I don't need the power
supply.
And it does not have to be complete or with tubes.

Hi Bill....
It kind of fit your description ! It is an AM-494. This particular
model is for +/- 150 mhz class C operation. I had one back in the
seventies that I added a screen regulator and adjustable bias to for use
on 2M ssb and cw. As I recall, it was made by Motorola....the one I had
came from MARS surplus. It was a really well built piece of equipment !
Perhaps the amp you're looking for is the AM-495/GR, which covered 25 -
50 mhz. The amp in the picture was for sale by K7XC in Nevada a few
months ago. Here's Tim's email address if you want to pursue it.

Maybe posting this model number on the amps reflector or the moon-net
reflector will get you some more detailed info. There is a pretty
limited amount of information on Google for these two model numbers.
Good Luck es 73,
