SS is fine for both chassis and most RF use altho unplated brass is best for
real power. For general mounting steel rusts and brass tarnishes which looks
tacky after awhile. I use nickel plated brass for most work since I picked
up a fair assortment at the National Radio auction in 91. There is an
industrial fasteners outfit 2 towns away for when I need something special.
