There's a very simple bare board available from FAR Circuits that is useful for this input tuned circuit application. It mimics that found in the Dentron GL-1000 amps that are popular to convert to a single hole GI7B amp. As I recall it's quite inexpensive, and uses dipped mica and toroids .........
