Carb cleaner kills those little buggers on contact. My brand of choice is MACs
carb cleaner. You can get it at NAPA for about $2.50 a can. Works great as a
carb cleaner too.

Not paper wasps though-- so keep that one in mind. However, it can
only help when you dump diesel on them and then light them on fire
later that night after you got the $h*% stung out of you though.
(Ordinary raid and wasp and hornet spray also doesn't work-- I was
told they are also called properly something like 'Japanese
*something* wasps.' Normally they are not here and can't live here,
but sometimes crazy stuff comes in with the cargo ships-- thankfully
it pretty much all dies in the winter.)
