I was just checking prices on new 3-500ZG tubes at the RF parts web
site.
Interestingly enough right smack at the top of the 3-500z heading for
these tubes there is a link to the W8JI web site which he explains
parasitic's.
I am wondering why a company as big as RF Parts who probably sells AND
warrantees more 3-500z tubes than anyone these days would come down on
the
side of W8JI rather than Measures. You would think that they more than
anyone else would want the best for their customers to protect the tubes
they
sell. I doubt they would advise users to use methods that would cause
them
warranty problems. I am sure SOMEONE in that company researched this
issue
with several engineers and tube companies before indiscriminately adding
such a link to information concerning parasitic's. Just an observance
in
the light of the present topic here. This link was NOT there the last
time I
looked.
