The Simpson 270 and Triplett 630 are still in production I believe.
As far as measuring HV I use a no name flea market HV probe and rebuilt the
internals to work as a 6KV probe with the 20K ohms per volt Simpson or
Triplett.on the 5 or 6 KV position. Not all Simpsons have a HV position so
select resistor values accordingly for another scale.
