Bite the bullet and remove the transformer.
Cut the primary leads as long as possible.
Remove the 4 bolts, and carefully tip up, with care the HV leads stay
attached to the HV board. The lower one is a PITA to get at.
Mount a solder lug strip on the inside rear wall. You can use the strip
plus a few twist connectors to reattach everything.
