[Amps] best tuner

For coax I like the old Lewis Mc Coy "ultimate transmatch" from ARRL 
handbook
This design was used by Murch in their tuner
It seems to work well for my G5RV

If  open wire line is the goal, go directly to a design like the EFJ 
Matchbox or other open wire tuner.
