I have a request in to a fellow who may very well know the details on that transformer. If it is a high voltage transformer from a broadcast rig I suspect it is at about the 500 to 1000 watt level, judging from the size. Of course broadcast rigs are rated at output level, and are also rated for full sinusoidal modulation.
