What you are seeing on Ebay is the Johnson 247 socket which is part of the 
Eimac SK-2210 air socket system. The 247 base typically sells in the $30 range.
 
However, if you are building an amp using the 8877, you need the grid contact 
clips which are very hard to find and quite expensive. Also, if you do not use 
the SK-2210, you will have to make a suitable system using metal standoffs to 
put the socket below the chassis. You can build your own but it is a heck of a 
lot of work (I've done it). It is far easier to buy a used or new SK-2210 
socket system.

Some times you can find these sockets, or similar ones, on the used or surplus 
market where they sell for $30 to $35.
