Darrell. put an outside meter on the plate voltage to verify that the meter
in the amp is reading correctly. It may be that the HV series metering
resistors have changed value and giving you a wrong reading. Just had an
LK-500
in here that was reading 600 volts low on the plate voltage due to that
reason. Ol' Denny used carbon resistors, cheap and change value over time.
If you
measure the voltage with another meter to verify and its still low, then you
probably DON'T have the upgraded transformer. Lou
