[Amps] 4CX1000A

Hi all,
        I have got a pair of 4CX1000a tubes in boxes that have been in the loft 
for 20 years.
I am looking at selling one but would like to test first. Is there a simple 
test I can do on them ?

they are 4cx1000a English Electric Valve Co LTD (October 1970)
Would also like to know value?
