I had the direction indicator pot in the T2X burn up with RF when using the tower as a vertical. The RF current through the rotator to the capacity hat of the 205BA appeared to cause the problem: adding suitable straps between the top of the tower and the stub mast, as well bypass caps in the T2X, led to no recurrence in 20 years. But this purely anecdotal, of course.
