Ignoring all the switching changes that would be required there simply isnt
low enough C in the Tune cap and associated distributed C to resonate on 6M
with any sort of realistic L.
Converting a SB-200; SB220 or other 2x 3-500Z amp would be a whole lot more
cost effective AND efficient. Some older Alphas, especially ones without
160, are going dirt cheap these days.
