If I remember correctly, it's +/-5% of fsd at any reading - so a reading
at 50% fsd has an error of +/-10% and so on.
As you say, immaterial in the context of radio links, maybe not always
immaterial if an amplifier has a sharp transition into non-linearity and
the meter is reading low.
