Hi Tom: I think you can remove the 7094 sockets and then install a pair of 813 tubes, by spacing the socket below the chassis. The 813 is taller than the top of the chassis to the case top - but you can recess the socket and get enough height. Operate them grounded grid, just like the 7094. They have the same plate dissipatin and are more rugged. Sell your remaining good 7094 for more than youpaid for the amp.
