Mr. Measures has not been "booted" from the Amps list but
he has been removed for consistent activities that violate
the rules. Specifically, he continues to quote entire
messages with the addition of one or two words - usually
mocking the original sender - that do not add to the topic
at hand. He has been sending copies of list postings to
"CC" lists of as many as 30 or more list members in spite
of warnings, both direct and on the list, that he is not to
be harvesting list members' addresses and creating his own
"bypass list." Finally, his postings have been combative

Meta discussions of the list operation are not germane and
are not to be posted to the list.
On occasion it becomes necessary to moderate an individual
and if they fail to "clean up their act" remove them for the
benefit of the list as a whole. It is a shame when their
contributions are lost but when they provide far more noise
than signal there are few options left.
There are a few here who may still remember that the founder
of contesting.com put this list on 100% moderation three and
one half years ago because it was totally out of control.
Today Amps is one of the least moderated contesting.com lists
(several are 100% moderated) and I hope to keep it as open as
possible but I have no intention of allowing it to get out of
hand again.
There will be no further discussion of this matter on the
list as it does not pertain to amplifiers.
