Re these ringing transients - is it possible to simulate (shudder!) the effect to determine its theoretical magnitude? >From deep in the past, I have a feeling that it's similar to the ringing that >took place in a spark transmitter antenna circuit (the 'jigger'), and was >affected by the logarithmic decrement of the circuit.
