Mike:
Just call RF Parts. They are very reputable and honest, IMO, and since they
sell both brands, just ask them which one has the best track record on
warranty replacement. The last time I bought a pair of 3-500Z's, their
recommendation was a matched pair of RF Parts units. They have been going
strong in my friend's SB-220 for over three years now. His original set of
tubes that came with his kit lasted 30+ years. I replaced the parasitic
suppressors when I put the new tubes in because the resistors had changed
value over the years.
