Just for the record an Al-1200 with a good tube and normal plate voltage  
(about 3600V) could be a little higher with higher main voltage, the amp should 
 
produce about 1800 output with 100 watts drive..  If you are getting only  
1200 or so, that is LOW.  Have you verified the plate voltage using another  
meter besides the one on board?  What is the Vdrop across each filter  cap?  
You 
may have the right plate voltage and your metering is not reading  correctly 
because of faulty multiplier resistor values.  The power could be  down because 
the tube may be a little weak.  73  Lou
