This is an interesting comparison.
I'm sure a large number of people exceed posted highway speed limits
by 10%. Perhaps even 20%. But does anyone other than a complete nut
exceed those speeds by 50%? 100%? 200%?
To get any significant increase in signal strength, it is accepted
you need to at least double the output power. Running 3 kW out isn't
any more sane than driving 130 mph on the highways.
