Well, darn.
I fired up my new homebrew 8877 amp today and it appears the tube is
on the flat side. It's been laying around for years and it's source
is unknown so I'm not too surprised or disappointed. I kind of half
expected it. It will put out a good 1000 watts, but the grid current
wanders a lot and more drive does not give more output.
So I need another one. Does anyone have a good one for sale? Please
