The AL-80A and B are similar designs using a single 3-500Z. The
AL-80A is an older, conventional design. The AL-80B is an updated
design using a sophisticated bias arrangement and more easily mass-
assembled circuitry.
Both these rigs generate about 600 or more watts out using the single
tube.
The AL-811H uses four 811 tubes in a conventional design. It will
generate about the same amount of output power.
